The Spring Summer 2026 collection brings together a refined selection of fabrics, blending timeless craftsmanship and contemporary luxury. This season, we are introducing lightweight cashmere shirting fabrics, designed for effortless elegance and comfort. Our fluid cashmere/silk blend shirtings, with their luxurious drape, showcase fresh, seasonal colours that evoke the spirit of spring, while offering a refined touch. The collection also features wool/cashmere blend shirtings and jacketings, blending tradition with modern versatility. Our fabrics continue to shine with classic cashmere, wools, and camelhair, available in an array of jacketing and coating weights, while our trans-seasonal coatings and signature double-face coatings from 500gm offer lasting appeal, ensuring that style is never compromised, no matter the season. Founded in 1767 in Batley Carr Mills, Joshua Ellis expanded into woollen textile manufacturing, adopting its current name in the 1830s. Now part of The SIL Group, it remains family-owned, dedicated to creating high-quality fabrics from the finest natural fibres. With a rich heritage in Yorkshire, the heart of textile production, every fabric is crafted with precision and care, using time-honoured techniques.
